The 5 Ages

By Mike Vidafar June 2, 2011 CREATIVE WORK, POETRY No Comments

The Five Ages is a poem modeled after the Epithalamion in structure, written in June, 2011.

It is five stanzas long, with both recurring and independent rhymes. Each stanza represents a different “age,” and together, the “five ages” form the life of a person.

The poem is written with an eye on classical form, style, and syntax.
