REVIEW: Julius Cesar: Set in Africa [Theatre]

Tonight I had the pleasure of a front row seat to “JULIUS CAESAR SET IN AFRICA” at the NUYORICAN POETS CAFE. It was my first visit to the Nuyorican, and it was a pleasure to see such an outstanding production. All of the cast members did a great job to create a really unique experience. This was not broadway, and it did not pretend to be. Instead, the actors at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe engaged you with their charisma.

If you’re a fan of Shakespeare, you’ll love it. If you’re a fan of art, you’ll love it. If you like acting, you’ll love it. Just a great group of people performing in a truly intimate setting. Don’t miss out.

BTW: Robert Turner as Cascius is *AMAZING* He will blow you away. That man’s EYES have POWER.
